Bayraktar TB3 Continues Development for Short-Deck Ships
Bayraktar TB3, Baykar’s latest domestically produced UAV, is nearing the final stages of its weaponization process. According to Baykar’s announcement and released video, the new UAV successfully hit its target with two ROKETSAN-manufactured MAM-T munitions during a test at Baykar’s Flight Training and Test Center in Keşan, Edirne.

During the test, Bayraktar TB3 utilized the ASELFLIR-500 Electro-Optical Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Targeting System developed by Aselsan, marking another aviation first by hitting the designated target during its firing test.
Bayraktar TB3 has spent a total of 887 hours and 23 minutes in the air during test flights. Its endurance record stands at 32 hours of continuous flight without landing, covering a total distance of 5,700 kilometers in the sky.
With these tests, Bayraktar TB3 is now armed, and ammunition integration testing has officially begun. The project will proceed according to a defined test schedule, including further integration for payload development.
